What HomEvidence is

HomEvidence is a home-inventory application. It helps you photograph, identify, value and organise your belongings, and export the result as CSV or PDF documents. It is a documentation tool — nothing more, and deliberately so.

Not an appraisal, not insurance advice

Values produced by HomEvidence — including AI-generated replacement-value ranges and depreciated actual cash values — are documentation estimates. They are not an appraisal, a valuation certificate, or insurance, legal or financial advice. HomEvidence is not an insurer and cannot guarantee the outcome of any claim. The figures you enter yourself always take precedence over any estimate.

Free tier and Pro subscription

The free tier includes one property, three rooms and twenty-five items, with unlimited AI identification, batch capture, receipt scanning, warranty reminders, the lending tracker, tags, search, the dashboard and CSV export. It does not expire, and there is no free trial — the free tier is the trial.

HomEvidence Pro removes the caps and adds the insurance-ready PDF export and cloud backup with a second device. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed through the App Store at US$3.99 per month or US$29.99 per year (US pricing; prices vary by storefront and are set per territory).

Billing and cancellation

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store settings at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and Apple’s refund policies apply to any refund request.

Cancelling Pro never puts your local data at risk: your inventory remains on your phone whatever your plan, and CSV export remains free.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your inventory. Review identified items before relying on them.
• If you do not enable cloud backup, your inventory exists only on your device. We cannot recover data from a lost or damaged phone without it.
• Do not use the app to document items you do not own or for any unlawful purpose.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the identification service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change as the app improves; we will not remove CSV export from the free tier.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HomEvidence and its developers are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including uninsured or under-insured losses — arising from use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.
